Jake Davies & Alyona Kalinina

Jake Davies and Alyona Kalinina are a professional Dancesport partnership currently competing in the International Latin and Latin American Showdance divisions. Jake originally hails from sunny South Africa and has previously lived in London, England, and Istanbul in Turkey, where he appeared in two seasons of the hit television series “Dancing with the Stars” and "The Voice" as well as "Diet on the Dancefloor". In addition, Jake is an accomplished dancer and actively competing professional who has placed in prestigious competitions all over the world and taken top honors with his professional dance partner, Alyona Kalinina and his many students. Whilst living in the UK, Jake achieved honours in his IDTA and ISTD Licentiate Ballroom and Latin American Professional examinations. 

Alyona Kalinina is a professional dancer, dance teacher, actress, and model. 

Alyona is a native of Ukraine and brings with her a wealth of knowledge, discipline, and experience from Eastern Europe. Alyona completed her formal dance education and training at the renowned National Academy of Dance in Kiev in whilst running her very own successful studio since 2003. In 2011 she made the decision to move to the UK to partner up with Jake Davies. Alyona was part of season 2 of "Dancing With The Stars" and "The Voice" in Istanbul, Turkey. 

Together the successful partnership has gone to achieve some of the following positions: 

- 2 times British National Show-dance Champions

- World Show-dance Finalists 

- British National Professional latin Finalist (Bronze)

- UK Closed Championship Finalist
